New Covers Posted
Friday, March 28, 2008
We just posted a handful of new covers we've been working on to the Book Covers section. There are also some new covers (like the one to the left) added to the hidden rejects section. Sometimes we like those equally or better than the finals. Happy hunting.

MFD meets TMF
Monday, February 18, 2008
When our friends The Magnetic Fields asked us to design a poster for their upcoming tour, we went a little overboard. We ended up designing 15 posters, one for each song on their fantastic new record Distortion plus two extra. Each set is hand-screened, hand-cut, wrapped, numbered, and limited to 125. We'll also be on tour selling the posters along with shirts, buttons, and CDs. If you're planning on coming to one of the shows, please stop by the merch booth and say hi. Here are some pictures from the assembly at MFD HQ. We also posted the set in our Other Work section. We'll have more detailed views of each poster as soon as we figure out how best to present them individually.

Playing with fake blood is fun.
Tuesday, January 29, 2008
Our friends at Almost Gold Recordings asked us to work with one of their up-and-coming bands, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, to design the cover for their new record You Have No Idea What You Are Getting Yourself Into.
The record comes out in a couple of months. We'll post the full cover and interior soon.

The Jewish Americans Currently Airing On PBS
Thursday, January 10, 2008
The Jewish Americans is a three-night documentary that explores 350 years of Jewish American history currently airing on PBS. We designed the companion book recently published by Doubleday. Our design was also applied to the show's website and in various aspects of the documentary itself.
For a closer look at the cover, check it out in the Book Covers section.

The Washington Post Has Excellent Taste
Tuesday, December 11, 2007
Although we suppose it's possible that The Washington Post named Alexandre Dumas' The Last Cavalier one of their Top Ten Books of 2007 because of the novel itself, we like to think it had more to do with the jacket. Many congratulations to our friends at Pegasus Books.
For a closer look at the cover, check it out in the Book Covers section.
